I'm glad that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld has stepped up to the plate and taken responsibility for the prison violations that took place in Iraq. I don't particularly like the man, but I think that shows quite a strength of character to admit to the entire world, that he was responsible (even if he wasn't). I hope General Myers will do the same (if he hasn't already).

As a former serviceman, it makes me sick to believe that a man or woman wearing the uniform of this great nation could take part in such atrocities. There is no excuse - PERIOD. We strut around telling everyone that we're better than them and then pull some crap like this - our already troubled reputation has now taken an serious nose-dive.
