Did an install of Win XP Pro on my machine. It was in an attempt to fix a problem I'm having trying to get my Verizon DSL modem to work, but to no avail. I've now had the modem and service (ha ha) for almost 2 weeks without being connected once. Verizon has sent me a new modem, and I still have the same error. Now, Dell is sending me a new ethernet card to see if possibly that is the culprit. Hopefully that will arrive soon so I can actually get this thing up and running before I end up throwing all of it into the river!

Trying desperately to get Verizon DSL installed and working properly with no success! Totally frustrated. Verizon did some troubleshooting and pretty much told me that everything was working fine on their end, so it's my problem. If only there were a decent priced DSL service available through a local ISP!
