Oh yea - and the connection to Verizon DSL has been smokin' ever since Verizon got it configured on their end correctly! Sure beats dial-up and the wireless service I had before! Have everything going through a Linksys router, so I'll be able to plug my new notebook right into the network without bumping anyone off the internet.

I'm on my last week of full-time work with Sappi for the summer. I'm taking a week off next week, and then it's back to school. I'm excited to get back to school to challenge the brain some more.

I went and bought all my books (or rather the VA bought my books) this morning. $400+ for 5 books, and 3 of them were used! Where does that money go? I would like to get a half of percent of the money that comes in for books alone at college campuses nation-wide!

The VA has also agreed to purchase me a new computer so I don't have to wait until midnight to get on the family PC after my daughter and wife are done with their work! I'm excited to be getting this new notebook from Dell. Hopefully it will arrive before school starts!

COULD IT BE TRUE!!!!

I'm connected to Verizon DSL as I'm typing this tonite - and guess what? All the problems were caused by THEM! They configured something wrong at the MCO! So I've wasted nearly a month thinking it was all my fault. UGH!

18 days and counting with still no service from Verizon DSL! Is there no end to my patience? Stay tuned to find out.
