I found a copy of the video showing the decapatation of the American, Nick Berg. It is totally disgusting and far outways the crimes I've seen the American soldiers dole out on the Iraqi prisoner. I think most Americans should see it, just to know what kind of enemy we're up against. I think the Iraqi people are being shown as too much of a victim in the American press. I've read too many e-mails from service men and women that are in the area of operations, and almost everyone of them says the Iraqi people are thankful for what we've done for their country - by I guess that isn't what Dan Rather and his liberal brethren want to air! UGH!

I'm glad that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld has stepped up to the plate and taken responsibility for the prison violations that took place in Iraq. I don't particularly like the man, but I think that shows quite a strength of character to admit to the entire world, that he was responsible (even if he wasn't). I hope General Myers will do the same (if he hasn't already).

As a former serviceman, it makes me sick to believe that a man or woman wearing the uniform of this great nation could take part in such atrocities. There is no excuse - PERIOD. We strut around telling everyone that we're better than them and then pull some crap like this - our already troubled reputation has now taken an serious nose-dive.

Wow - my first full day back at work! That's going to take a bit of getting used to!! I'm sure that after a week of this, I'll be ready for the fall semester to start. At least I'm able to get caught up on some things at work that I've had to put on the back burner for the last couple of months.

Maybe now that school is done for the summer, I'll be able to catch up on some America's Army!

Another successful semester came to a close today for me at Thomas College. I had my Business Law final at 8 a.m. this morning. I truthfully need only a couple weeks off before going back to school, but will have to wait until the end of August when the Fall 2004 semester starts up.
